Awesome Things to Do in St. John – USVI

St. John

St. John U.S Virgin Islands is the most beautiful, most natural, and pristine place, despite being one of the smaller US Virgin Islands. There are few places left in the world like this one; over 60% of the island is protected by Virgin Islands National Park.

If you’re looking for more information about St. John – sit back in Coral Bay and let its serene tranquility put your mind at ease while you take a look at how lush green mountains meet up with sapphire blue water; all from miles away on top of hills where there are plenty of rental homes available to choose from that offer amazing views.

Get up close and personal with nature when you hike out along some trails before finally ending up at some much-loved beaches or other small towns where you can get something special made or taste a new dish until dinner time comes around again (not too soon!).

Here are some of the best things you can do in St John USVI

Virgin Island National Park

This park preserves the unique history of these islands – you get a scenic view of distant parts of the Caribbean and it possesses many untold stories from this area’s long-standing Danish West Indies’ histories.

You can also enjoy snorkeling the coral reefs, swimming with sea turtles, hiking, or just relaxing and enjoying the sun on the beautiful beaches.

Cruz Bay

This is the entrance point to National Park, and you can also enjoy some of the finest food and refreshing drinks at a beach bar. All of the other beaches are just a short walk away from Cruz Bay.

Reef Bay Trail

This place is a must to visit when you are in St John. It offers visitors adventures that include, historic sites, ancient relics, challenging climbs, and the island’s ecosystem. On your way to Reef Bay beach, you will also come across multiple sugar mill ruins and the tallest trees in the Caribbean.

Maho Bay Beach

You will find many amenities like water sport rentals, food trucks, and tiki bars, that most other beaches of St John fail to offer.

The street is full of sugar-white sand with a stunning view of the green forested hills and turquoise waters. Don’t forget to bring your snorkel gear to enjoy the swim with the sea turtles. This place is remarkable for snorkeling with marine reptiles.

How Many Days Do You Need?

You will need 7 to 10 days to fully cover the beaches and other adventures of the US Virgin Islands. Plan to spend most of your days in St John since it is more beautiful than St. Thomas and St. Croix.

If you plan your visit during the peak season, December through February, the weather will be good, but it will be more expensive and crowded too.
