Singer Arijit Singh’s Mother Passes Away Due To Cerebral Stroke

Singer Arijit Singh’s mother Aditi Singh passed away at age 52, due to Cerebral Stroke on 19 May 2021. She had been admitted to a hospital in Kolkata after testing positive for Coronavirus. Arijit Singh’s mother recovered from COVID-19 and tested negative for the virus on Monday but succumbed to cerebral stroke on Wednesday.  As per News18.com, “She passed away last night around 11 pm. Singh, admitted with COVID, was put on ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation). She tested negative on Monday but succumbed to a cerebral stroke last night.”

Arijit Singh had expressed his gratitude towards fans through a Facebook post, He wrote-

“It is my humble request to those who are trying to help me at this hour, Please Do not overdo things just because you see a name called Arijit Singh. Until we learn to respect each individual, We are not going to elevate ourselves from this disaster.” “I am thankful to people who reached out and helped but please remember we are all human beings. Every individual is priority”

In a long Facebook post, the singer shared several tips to avoid and fight against COVID-19. He had written the post in Hindi and Bengali languages. “Mai yeh baar-baar keh raha hun. Apne aap ko gharo mei band kar lijiye. Baahar mat nikaliye (I am saying this again and again, please remain inside your houses and don’t go outside),”
